Artistic Vision

As I painted “God’s Handiwork,” I was moved by the sacred interplay between nature’s raw beauty and divine presence. This piece is my tribute to the awe-aspiring majesty of creation, a moment where the natural world becomes a cathedral carved not by human hands, but by time, water, wind and Spirit. Technique

In creating this piece, I used oil on canvas to bring to life the raw spiritual beauty of nature. I worked in layers, starting with a tonal under-painting to shape the rock formations and natural flow of the landscape. From there, I built up depth using glaze — thin, translucent layers of color that allowed the light to shine through, especially in the vibrant greens and yellows of the trees beyond the arch. Through color, contrast and texture, I aimed to echo the wonder I felt in that sacred moment when nature itself seemed to whisper:”This is the work of God’s hands.”
