Creating an Account
1. Visit Our Website: To get started, open your preferred web browser and head to AfriArtSpace.com.
2. Sign Up: Click on the link Sign Up Link to access the sign-up page.
3. Select the Artist Category: Choose the “Artist” category – it’s designed exclusively for artists like you. Provide your name, email address, store name, and set up a secure password.
4. Verify Your Account: Keep an eye on your inbox. Once you receive an email containing an approval or disapproval link, follow it to log in using your chosen username and password.
Posting Your Artwork
1. Log In: Use the credentials you’ve set up to log in to your AfriArtSpace account.
2. Access Your Dashboard: Upon logging in, your dashboard awaits. Navigate to your profile page.
3. Add New Artwork: Discover the “Artworks” option and click “Add New” to initiate the process of uploading your artwork.
4. Upload Artwork Details: Share the heart of your creation by providing its title, description, dimensions, medium, and price.
5. Upload Images: Capture your masterpiece in high-quality images that do justice to its details and essence (Image size must be 500×647).
6. Tags and Categories: Enhance visibility by adding tags and categories that resonate with your artwork’s theme. For instance, if you’ve crafted a vibrant painting depicting an African landscape, consider tags like “AfricanArt,” “Landscape,” “Nature,” and “AcrylicPainting.”
7. Submit Artwork: Complete the submission process, and your listing will be reviewed to ensure it aligns with our platform’s guidelines.
Selling Your Artwork
1. Effective Communication: Engage with potential buyers by responding promptly to inquiries. Keep your contact details up-to-date to facilitate seamless interaction.
2. Transaction Management: When a buyer expresses interest and makes a purchase, manage the transaction process. Ship the artwork within 2 to 3 business days after payment confirmation. All transactions and payments are securely processed through our platform.
3. Secure Packaging: Protect your creation by using secure packaging materials, ensuring its safe journey to the buyer.
4. Feedback Encouragement: Kindly encourage buyers to leave feedback after receiving your artwork. Positive reviews can elevate your reputation on the platform.
Enhancing Your Artwork’s Visibility
1. Effective Tagging: Boost your artwork’s discoverability by using both specific and broader tags.
“AbstractArt” for abstract pieces
“AfricanCulturalArt” for art influenced by African culture
“OilPainting” for artworks created using oil paints
2. Leverage Social Media: Extend your reach by sharing your listings on social media platforms with relevant hashtags. Engaging with art communities amplifies your exposure.
3. Engage with the Article Section: Utilise the “Article” section in your personalised dashboard. Write about your artworks, African history, cultural inspirations, your creative process, and deep insights about art. Our team reviews and publishes these articles if they align with our guidelines.
