Joyejironiovo

My name is Joy Ejiro Akpokiniovo, I am a Nigerian born self taught contemporary visual artist and my art mediums are charcoal, graphite pencils, acrylic and oil paint. I hold a BA degree from the University of of Benin and I am an international award winning model.
I first became interested in art during my last year in senior secondary school after a visit to the state museum. I see art to be an expression of one’s inner most true feelings, because art is life itself . My hobbies are listening to music, drawing , reading books and traveling.

I am currently based in Lagos, Nigeria, where I develop my art from my home studio.
