Obinna Agu Shedrach

My name is Obinna Agu Shedrach, also known as Gifted Fingers. I am a multidisciplinary artist who expresses creativity through drawing, painting, and occasionally sculpture. Born in Oyo State, in the western region of Nigeria, I currently live and create art in Lagos, where I continue to refine and expand my artistic practice.

My journey into art began as a hobby when I was just five years old. As I grew older, my passion and dedication to the craft deepened, and it continues to evolve every day. Art, for me, is more than a skill—it is a way of life, a powerful means of expression, and the physical representation of emotions and ideas that are often intangible. I believe that art has the ability to make the world a better place; after all, the world itself is art. Everything created by humans today was once imagined and sketched before coming to life, and I see my role as an artist as part of this continuous cycle of creation.

As a self-taught artist, I have developed my skills through constant practice and exploration, using each piece to tell a story or evoke a feeling. My creative process is deeply personal, allowing me to connect with my work and bring my imagination to life.

Beyond art, I have a love for cooking, playing games, reading, and dancing—each of which fuels my creativity in different ways. To me, art is not just what I do; it is who I am, a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, and the world around me.
