My name is Suleiman Abdulfatai “Fhatoh Arts”, and I was born on March 3rd in Kogi State, Nigeria. I studied Industrial Design at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where I majored in Graphics and graduated in 2012. My art is deeply inspired by my immediate environment, and I’ve always been fascinated by form and faces. Over time, I developed a passion for using threads to represent these elements.
I’ve chosen unconventional media to express my vision, especially needle and yarn, to capture the complexity of human emotions. In my most recent work, I explore the intricate process of using threads to paint human forms. The technique allows me to show how emotions are interwoven and mixed in the human mind. Each of my pieces conveys the moods and feelings of the subject, aiming to express the deep complexity of the human experience.
I have participated in various art exhibitions, and my journey continues to evolve as I experiment with new ways to convey emotion and meaning through this unique medium. Through my art, I seek to challenge the traditional and explore the profound depths of human expression.
